Welcome Back!

Welcome back to school!  Now that things have settled I thought this would be a good time to give some updates and “things to do”.

  1. Early College is off to a good start. If students have issues with their GTC class they need to first speak to their instructor, second come see Ms. Walter.
  2. Our first Senior Class is off to the races!  They are working diligently in their Senior Seminar class to complete their very first college applications. Wish them luck!
  3. Senior Night is tomorrow, Wednesday, September 4th at 6:30pm here at the Upper Campus cafeteria.
  4. I will begin meeting with grades 9-11 starting this week to go over their specific college/career timelines.

New Bachelor’s Degree @ GTC!!

4-year Degree in Advanced Manufacturing!

Greenville Technical College is preparing to offer the state’s first Applied Baccalaureate program at a two-year institution. The program will prepare graduates to assume technical and managerial leadership positions in the growing global manufacturing sector, which drives South Carolina’s economic strength.
The applied baccalaureate in advanced manufacturing technology at Greenville Technical College will not duplicate anything offered by a four-year institution and will be very different from a traditional bachelor’s degree. The degree will be technical in focus with a project-based curriculum. Learning will be active, engaging, and hands-on.
